ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION: Love in Music is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives through free classical music education. With three active branches in Southern California, we serve children from underserved communities through weekly lessons, programs, and concerts—powered by committed volunteers and a small team of administrators.
POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a responsible and mission-driven individual to serve as a Part-Time Administrative/Program Coordinator. This position will begin as a 3-month temporary role, with the potential for extension depending on funding availability. The selected candidate will work closely with the Executive Director to support communications, event logistics, volunteer coordination, and outreach.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Administrative Support)
-- Respond to volunteer inquiries and support onboarding
-- Send welcome emails and track application status
-- Maintain and update volunteer directories
-- Communicate with volunteers using Discord and KakaoTalk
-- Coordinate closely with the Executive Director for approvals and scheduling
(Program Support)
-- Assist with scheduling weekly classes and seasonal concerts
-- Maintain accurate records of volunteer participation and program activity
(Marketing & Outreach)
-- Update website and manage social media (Instagram, Facebook)
-- Support development of marketing materials
QUALIFICATIONS:
-- College graduate or student or equivalent experience
-- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills
-- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace; Adobe skills a plus
-- Experience managing social media platforms
-- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
-- Strong preference for candidates residing in Torrance or the South Bay area preferred
