Assistant Property Manager – Luxury Apartment Community in Koreatown
Job Description
*This is a hands-on role that requires active coordination between property management, residents, vendors, maintenance staff, and ownership to ensure the property operates efficiently and maintains its luxury standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Deliver excellent resident service by responding promptly and professionally to resident requests, concerns, and service inquiries.
*Maintain a strong working knowledge of resident lease agreements. Ensure compliance with lease terms and assist with rent collections and enforcement when necessary.
*Issue, track, and close maintenance work orders while coordinating with vendors and the maintenance team to ensure timely and satisfactory completion.
*Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs including unit readiness, final inspections, and turnover scheduling.
*Support leasing efforts by assisting with tours, prospect inquiries, and follow-up communication when needed.
*Assist with lease renewals, amendments, and resident communications.
*Support property improvement projects, amenity upgrades, and vendor coordination as directed by management.
*Respond to property emergencies and coordinate appropriate vendor or maintenance response when needed.
*Utilize property management software (such as AppFolio, or similar systems) to manage resident accounts and operational tasks.
Qualifications
*Experience in residential property management or a related field.
*Strong customer service skills and the ability to handle resident concerns professionally and calmly.
*Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
*Familiarity with residential lease agreements, property management practices, and housing regulations.
*Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
*Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
*Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
